Irish forces win comprehensive victory over ONE

DUBLIN (AAP) - Soldiers from Laighean, An Mumhain, and Cuige Chonnacht under the banners of three armies led by Steven7788, Springtime, and Daubigny, won an overwhelming victory over an army of the rogue military organization called ONE. The battle took place outside the town of Lios Mor on 29 January 1458. Lios Mor, a town of An Mumhain, had been made independent by the ONE army on 19 January.

On 20 January, various leaders of An Mumhain and Cuige Chonnacht were called together by Sajanzv of Laighean to resolve the situation, and discussions ensued. The leaders included Daubigny, Garik, Padraig_mackenzie, Borisinborough from An Mumhain, and Steven7788 and Springtime of Laighean. As a result of the discussions, a plan was formulated and forces were mobilized. Of special note was the Laighean sanctioned army of Steven7788, which had soldiers from all three counties of Ireland under one banner.

By 28 January, the three armies had surrounded the ONE army, and battle ensued at dawn on the 29th. Over 100 soldiers of Eire from three armies were involved, fighting against almost 45 ONE soldiers led by Moldan. The ONE army was totally routed. Almost all of their soldiers were found at the point of death or injured. Notable among these is Anghelos, Commander of ONE.

Only eight ONE soldiers managed to flee the battlefield. The Eire forces have stated they will hunt them down.

This battle marks the first total defeat for ONE on Irish soil. Ever since they arrived in Eire in January of 1457, they had been a cause of turmoil for both An Mumhain and Laighean. This victory also marks the first time both counties have come together as one to fight a common enemy.
