An tInbhear Mór returned to Laighean
DUBLIN (AAP) - The town of An tInbhear Mór was returned to the county of Laighean on 19 June following nearly a month as an independent village. The Praetorian Guard, led by the Captain of Munster Daubigny, marched into An tInbhear Mór two days ago as part of an agreement between Laighean and Munster to return the town.
Upon news of the change in status, citizens of An tInbhear Mór rejoiced, dancing in the streets, drinking in the taverns, and arriving in greater numbers to celebrate at the Midsummer Ceili. Soldiers of the Praetorian Guard were seen celebrating along with the townspeople. Many of the celebrants from both Munster and An tInbhear Mór expressed a desire for better relations between the two counties, putting the recent Civil War behind them and moving towards peace. Enferen, the mayor of An tInbhear Mór, agreed: "The efforts of Daubigny, our own Warlord1510, and many other people both from Munster and An tInbhear Mor made all this possible and we look forward to finally having peace in our town."
Tensions are still present between the two counties, however. The town was nearly turned back to independent status due to the failure of Ceruwin, Duke of Laighean, to appoint a judge to dismiss the pending cases against members of ONE. The case dismissals were an integral part of the agreement leading to the return of An tInbhear Mór. Citizens of both Munster and Laighean were relieved when the crisis was averted by Ceruwin's appointment of Keiran to the post on 20 June. Ceruwin could not be reached for comment.
The Munster army will leave An tInbhear Mór within a few days. The town now looks to the Laighean council and newly elected mayor, Glory123, to assist them in rebuilding their economy and attracting new and former residents. "ATM has been through more than any city should ever have to endure, yet everyone still holds there heads high," stated Warlord1510, a council member for Laighean and resident of An tInbhear Mór. ""It is time we set a path towards rebuilding this town's economy and giving the people a normal life that they rightfully deserve."
